Rio is famous for its nightlife and bar culture but if you wander aimlessly through the touristy beach neighbourhoods you’ll end up drinking bad caipirinhas, eating crappy food and paying rip-off tourist prices for the pleasure. Surely there must be more to a night out in Rio than this?
Backstreet bars you’d never find on your own
We’ve spent years finding the best bars, restaurants and nightlife hot-spots in town, from gritty dive bars to funky concept bars to authentic samba clubs. After years of running Rio’s best daytime food tour we decided to create an eating and drinking, bar-hopping experience that will give you a taste of the real bar culture of Rio.
Over the course of 4-5 hours, you’ll leave the touristy Zona Sul areas far behind and visit a series of awesome spots in the north part of the city (an area rarely visited by tourists). You’ll enjoy locally brewed beers, perfectly mixed caipirinhas, zingy and potent batida fruit shots, a selection of cachaças and a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
There’ll also be plenty of delicious food so you won’t be going home hungry!
Everything is included in the price
The price of our tours includes everything – all food, drinks, transport during the tour and the guide. You won’t have to pay anything extra, so you can relax and enjoy the food and drinks and be as greedy as you like!
