What is it?
A fantastic tour of some of Rio’s most beautiful street art and graffiti. Your guide – the super-friendly Nina – is hugely knowledgeable of the urban art scene in Rio. In fact she’s friends with most of the artists, so always has her finger on the pulse of the latest and most interesting developments in this often secretive world. Nina will take you to see some of the most stunning street art pieces in the city. Not only will you get to see artworks (usually hidden in locations you’d never find on your own), but Nina gives you the crucial explanations and context which make the images come alive.
What is it like?
Here at Eat Rio we’ve found that lots of our food tour guests also love street art and so over the years we’ve had dozens of guests take Nina’s tour – the feedback is always wildly positive! Nina offers several tour options including 2 or 4 hour tours, a graffiti workshop and even a tour where you meet one of the street artists. As well as taking you to see the artworks, Nina usually finishes up with a visit to a really nice bar in Leblon where you can enjoy a delicious craft beer or even a full meal!
