Yikes, I had no idea. Sorry about that. I would’ve expected scenes from a novela or Casseta & Planeta’s satiric version. Feel free NOT to tell us what you found instead. :)
That guy has hairy hands for sure. But in looking at that photo, the first thought that occured to me was how much I never again want to be wearing a suit while riding a bus. I recently retired, and am in the process of moving to Rio com a minha esposa Carioca, so I have such thoughts on a regular basis.
Are you happy to be back in Rio after 2 months back home, or no? Just curious…….
Hi Charles – I’m really happy to be back! Being back to London was generally very enjoyable but I was very aware that it wasn’t my home any more. I may still be an outsider back in here Rio, but it’s where my life is now and where my hopes and plans for the future lie.
Regarding suits on the bus, it is a fairly rare sight. Most people in my new place of work wear dark jeans and either a smart(ish) t-shirt or a shirt with a collar (about 60% of people tuck their shirt in, the rest have them hanging out in a more casual style). I guess it’s feels more relaxed to wear jeans, but when it gets hot I actually find light suit trousers to be more comfortable (though I’d never choose to wear the jacket like this furry fellow! :) )
Awww, I’m sorry Danielle. :( Now I feel like a big mean body-hair bully. I have fairly furry hands myself and I know at least one ex-girlfriend found them “weird” so I should know better…
If I ever meet you Tom, I’m going to make sure my hands and whole body are waxed the day before I meet you. Luckily I’m not really hairy. Such a bully.
I’m gonna take a stab in the dark and say he’s Portuguese

Yep, Robin Williams.
Wow, Tony Ramos was on your bus! :)
Woah, you get some scary stuff if you do an image search for Tony Ramos… :(

Ha ha ha! I nearly left you all a link! But I’ll spare you… :)
TONY RAMOS!!! hahaha… first thing I thought… only one post too late!
So yeah, we’ve see it… on primetime TV =)

My husband’s hands are like this…. :/ poor guy, I wonder if people ever take random pictures of him for his hairiness.
