Located in the decidedly shabby looking ‘Galeria Condor’ shopping arcade, Rotisseria might not look like much, but there is a reason that this place is busy pretty much all the time. Quite simply, this place does the best esfihas in town! They also do a mean Kibe Cru along with a whole host of other Middle Eastern classics (if you’re wondering what esfiha and kibe cru are, find out here).
It’s a real locals’ place (I even had a few people jokingly ask me not to publicise Rotisseria as they want to keep it for themselves!). If you’re wanting to fill up on something delicious without spending a fortune, the lunch deal of arroz com lentilhas, cebola e kafta (lentil rice with a kafta kebab and amazing crispy onions) is both delicious and fantastic value.
If you’re into middle eastern food and enjoy rubbing shoulders with locals then Rotisseria is an essential stop.
